Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field from a recognized University.
- Minimum academic performance requirement of a Second-Class Upper Division or above.
- Graduation within last 1–2 years.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Membership or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional engineering body, such as the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and/or Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE), may be an added advantage.
- Assist in the day to day monitoring of the installation of electrical equipment at EACOP sites.
- Support electrical engineering activities during project execution, commissioning, and operational readiness phases.
- Participate in inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of electrical installations.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and equipment documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, maintenance records, and engineering documentation.
- Support compliance with company HSE standards, industry regulations, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, instrumentation, operations, and project teams for successful project execution.
- Undertake structured learning and development activities as part of the graduate trainee program.
