Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Minimum of UACE certificate, Diploma, or equivalent
  • Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance
  • Prior experience in sales, field marketing, or insurance is an added advantage
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently in the field
  • Ability to build trust and relationships within local communities
  • Basic financial literacy and willingness to learn insurance products
Responsibilities
  • Actively identify, engage, and close new clients in assigned field locations
  • Educate individuals, families, and small businesses on Turaco’s life and microinsurance products
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend suitable insurance solutions
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Generate leads through field activities, referrals, and community engagement
  • Support clients with onboarding, documentation, and claims guidance
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, leads, and customer interactions
