- Bachelors’ Degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS)
Bachelors’ Degree in Records and Archives Management (BRAM)
At least three (3) years’ experience at the level of Assistant Medical Records Officer.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Initiate and participate in research activities.
- Manage and account for allocated resources.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Ensure that records on patients are received, documented, classified and stored
- Periodically audit records and records systems
- Ensure confidentiality and safety of records
- Avail records/information on patients to authorized persons and observe control of access to records/information by unauthorized persons
- Ensure that essential equipment and other supplies are available
- Promote observance of the professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him or her
- Plan, budget, manage, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate medical records activities in the Hospital
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Senior Medical Records Officer.
