The Project Management officer is responsible for supporting in the efficient and effective delivery of OBUL’s operational projects in conformity with the Bank’s approved standards and policies.


Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field of study.

• A post graduate diploma in Project Management/Professional certification in project management will be an added advantage.

• Two years’ experience in the project management field.

• Experience in a Financial Services Sector will be an added advantage

• Draft Project progress reports and conduct reviews with other project stakeholders.

• Ensure project outputs are consistent with project objectives, log frames and in line with quality standards and bank policies.

• Draft Project closure reporting including lessons learned and best practices.

• Participate in technical working groups and coordination of project meetings.

• Analyze business needs in respect to intended project out comes, impact, budgets, risks, and resource allocation.

• Monitors implementation of project activities and budgets to assure accountability as per the approved work plan, monitoring, and evaluation strategy.

• Support in the Planning and structuring actionable project implementation schedules including prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines and follow up with external stakeholders tasked with various project tasks.

• Conducts regular project evaluation checks to ascertain whether the project is meeting the intended objectives.

• Support projects implementation in the bank. • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
