The Public Relations Officer will be the spokesperson for the Uganda Law Society (ULS)
responsible for planning and directing the creation of material and content that will maintain afavorable public image for the Uganda Law Society (ULS).a) Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing
with a Public Relations or Advertising concentration.b) At least four years’ experience, of which 2 must be in marketing, communication, anddigital fields. '
c) Having knowledge of the law will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities

To publicize ULS AND ITS Project activities.
Plan, implement and manage public relations programs.
Plan and budget for public relations events, programs and initiatives.
Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and
competition ventures. Communicating ULS programs, initiatives accomplishments and/or points of view of theOrganization.
Help in designing and reviewing a variety of promotional and marketing materials for the
Society. Design, review and manage the online content in media communications and media kits.
Monitor corporate image frequently and ensure it is in compliance with company brand.
Measure and provide reports on each public relations campaign.
Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders, such as local government,
media people and relevant stakeholders. Produce content for various speeches, events and hearings.
Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy, as needed and
Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Carry out any other lawful duties as may be assigned by the Deputy Chief Executive
Officer
