Senior Analyst - Planning and Analytics

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
  
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
  
• Proficiency in Data Science & ML development and deployment
  
• Advanced Knowledge in PowerBI.
  

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years in the area of specialisation
  
• Experience in data science, machine learning & advanced data analytics.
  
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel modeling.
  
• Strong understanding of telecom KPIs, revenue models, and operational metrics.
  
• Proven ability to simplify complex data and influence strategic decisions.
  

Customer Analytics & Performance Monitoring

• Perform customer level analytics to help explain performance trends and provide insight in a timely manner for decision making.
  

• Designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly data visualizations and dashboards as well as Implementing best practices to ensure dashboard design consistency for the best user experience.
  

• Carry out all regular and ad hoc data analytics activities to enable business to obtain better insights
  

Predictive Analytics & Modeling

• Develop and maintain machine learning models for forecasting customer behavior, churn, and business outcomes.
  
• Conduct gap analysis to identify underserved areas and optimize agent network deployment.
  
• Analyze mobile money agent liquidity, float availability, and transaction patterns to detect stress points and seasonal trends.
  

Commercial Strategy Support

• Partner with teams in Commercial operations to understand business needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions
  

• Use data-driven insights to guide business strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market dynamics
  

• Develop business cases for new initiatives and products.
  

• Assess the impact of pricing, promotions, and market dynamics.
  

• Provide data-driven insights to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
