Academic Qualifications
•Education: A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
•Professional Membership: Membership of a recognized professional body such UIPE, ERB is an added advantage.
•Professional Certifications: Recognized certification such as ERA, ERB or equivalent will be an added advantage.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in utility or electricity infrastructure project implementation.
•Experience supervising field operations and contractors.
Responsibilities
1.Project Planning & Coordination.
Plan and coordinate connection project activities in line with organizational targets and timelines, develop work schedules and implementation plans for connection projects and ensure optimal allocation of materials, equipment, and personnel.
2.Implementation & Monitoring
Monitor progress of ongoing connection projects and resolve implementation challenges while tracking performance against project milestones and prepare status reports.
3.Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with customers, wiremen, contractors, suppliers, internal departments and external stakeholders including Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD), Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MOPFED), Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) and funding agencies.
