Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree is desirable.

Work Experience

  • 8 years’ experience in telecoms or related environment of which at least 3 years are in managing customer analytics and business intelligence projects and initiatives.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in business analysis, pricing, financial modelling, Customer Value Management and product evaluation

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Power BI, SQL, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel modelling.

  • Solid understanding of telecom industry KPIs, revenue streams, and operational metrics.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.

  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and simplify complex data for decision-making.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and results-driven approach.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and drive strategic initiatives.

  • Experience in advanced analytics tools and techniques


Responsibilities
  1. Analyzing market trends, customer behavior, services portfolio, and pricing models to identify revenue opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with sales and network operations teams to align revenue goals with infrastructure capacity, service quality, and customer expectations.
  3. Develop strategies to forecast and maximize revenue from telecommunications services such as voice & data.
  4. Monitor and adjust revenue forecasts based on technological advancements (e.g., 5G adoption), regulatory changes (e.g., spectrum allocation), and competitive pressures in the telecom market.
  5. Evaluate portfolio performance using metrics like average revenue per user (ARPU), customer retention rates, return on investment (ROI), or network utilization.
  6. Leverage analytics and market intelligence to monitor portfolio performance and adapt to shifts in demand, such as increased need for low-latency networks or high-speed connectivity solutions.
  7. Ensure revenue planning and portfolio decisions support the company’s mission, whether it’s expanding network coverage, enhancing service quality, or pioneering next-generation telecom technologies.
  8. Analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities. Assess the impact of pricing, promotions, and market dynamics, providing data-driven insights to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategy.
  9. Work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and FinTech teams to align strategies. Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  10. Drive quality insights, automation and next level analysis to enhance decision-making.
  11. Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, setting clear goals and fostering a high-performance, data-driven culture through coaching and feedback.
