Description
Qualifications:
a) At least a Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, or a related field.
b) At least 2 years’ experience managing social media for an organization, brand, or project.
c) Strong storytelling and writing skills for digital audiences.
d) Proven experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools.
e) Basic photography and videography skills, including shooting and editing content for online use.
f) Solid understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking tools.
g) Experience in agriculture or development communications is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
a) Create compelling digital content that communicates Kilimo Trust’s impact across the region through visual, video, and human-centered storytelling.
b) Manage and maintain Kilimo Trust’s social media platforms to ensure a consistent and pro-fessional digital presence.
c) Work with field teams to translate program activities into accurate, respectful, and consented stories.
d) Support online audience engagement and relationship-building across platforms.
e) Contribute to the planning and delivery of digital campaigns aligned with program priorities and key moments during the year.
f) Ensure all content reflects Kilimo Trust’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity standards.
g) Track content performance and contribute to digital analytics and reporting.
