Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Stores Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Business Administration or related field from recognized University or institution.

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in warehouse or stores management, preferably in humanitarian or NGO settings.

• Experience handling relief items or emergency supplies with an International Organization is an added advantage.

• Prior experience working with UNHCR-funded projects.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations:

• Monitor security of the IRC’s storage and supplies.

• Receive CRIs delivered to the warehouse and verify quantities against waybills, delivery notes, and purchase orders.

• Conduct physical inspection of items for quality, damage, expiry or shortages upon receipt.

Space for movement and operations.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the warehouse at all times.

Stock Management and Documentation:

• Receive goods from suppliers and other sites; inspect for damage or missing items; update all warehouse documentation.

• Maintain accurate stock records including Goods Received Notes (GRNs), Stock/bin cards, Dispatch notes and Waybills among others

Dispatch and Distribution Support:

• Prepare CRIs for dispatch according to approved distribution plans.

• Support loading and offloading of CRIs during transportation to reception centers and settlements.

• Ensure correct quantities are released based on authorized release orders.

• Participate in CRI distributions when required, including verification and documentation.

Coordination and Compliance:

• Work closely with Program, MEAL, and Protection teams to support planned distributions.

• Ensure adherence to IRC, UNHCR, and OPM logistics and accountability standards.

• Support audits, donor verification exercises, and partner monitoring visits.

Health, Safety and Safeguarding:

• Promote safe warehouse practices, including fire safety and proper handling of materials.

• Adhere to IRC safeguarding, PSEAH, anti-fraud, and code of conduct policies.

• Immediately report any suspected misconduct, fraud, or diversion of relief items.

• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
