POSITION PURPOSE:

.Responsible for transportingsmall bulky

products, deliveringcompany documents and equipment.

COMPETENCIES:

Technical Knowledge/ Skills:

  Defensive driving

  Competent at checking vehicle for problems pre/post maintenance tasks


 Thorough understanding of motor vehicle engine functionality


 Familiar with all traffic laws and regulations.


Behavioral / Attitude Competencies:

 Communication both oral and written

 Customer focus service

 Analytical and problem solving skills

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic safety training
  • Basic defensive driving training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

· Valid driving permit

·  3 years of work experience. Safe driving record, knowledge of drivingrules and regulations, minor skills in vehicle repair and maintenance

JOB ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS:
1.Technical Roles

  • Ensure that company car(s) are well maintained and meet safety requirements.

  • Ensure that company car(s) are clean and tidy all the time.

  • Make sure company car(s) insurance cover
  • is valid and displayed on to the vehicle.
  • Drive to a required destination to finish working tasks, including but not limiting to sending staff to
  • airports, meetings and business trips.
  • Sending, buying or picking up required goods, documents, activity’s materials and packages and so on as
  • may be instructed by management.
  • Assist with office duties, including but not limited to moving new goods or products, help in shifting
  • and organizing office furniture, ensuring water and other items are in provision.
    Overtime work may be required during week-days andpublic holidays. In such a rare situation, overtime work on Sunday and public holidaysmay be needed. The said overtime shall be paid with salary of the current monthin accordance with HR policy on overtime.

    2.Monitor and maintain Company vehicles

    ·Ensure proper day today maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs,

    arrangement for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes,
    car washing etc

    · Ensure cost-savingthrough proper use of vehicle and accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs,

    provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans andreports.

    Ensure availability of all the requireddocuments/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, first aid kit,necessary spare parts.

    3.Any other Duties
    Perform any other assignment assignedby Management.
