Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in the field of Biomedical Laboratory Technology or Science Technology at Laboratory Technician Level in Government.
- Setting the required disease, pest and weed climate standards and conditions;
- Collecting samples, preparing and carrying out quality control under sterile conditions;
- Undertaking quality control activities/experiments in order to facilitate proper investigations and tests development;
- Participating in activities leading to the identification of pests, diseases and weed strains in the country;
- Preparing re-agents and materials used in the laboratories;
- Establishing and maintaining records related to tests and investigation of pests, diseases and weeds;
- Undertaking supportive research activities and quality control experiments;
- Carrying out proper storage and use of all laboratory equipment;
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
