Job brief:

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. Someone who will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Conducting market research to develop and implement sales initiatives, developing and implementing sales strategies and product knowledge. Please note, only candidates who live in Ondo and it environs will be considered.




Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
2. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and challenges within the assigned area.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Develop and implement sales plans, forecasting, and budgeting for the assigned area.
6. Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
7. Train and develop the sales team to enhance their skills and ensure they are well-equipped to achieve targets.
8. Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
9. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align strategies and maximize overall company success.
10. Address challenges and issues that arise in the sales process, working to find effective solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
2. Significant experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
3. Strong leadership and management abilities to guide and inspire a sales team.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and client interaction.
5. Ability to analyze market data, sales reports, and performance metrics.
6. A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals.
7. Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities to develop effective sales strategies.
8. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
