They are responsible for providing high-quality dental care services to patients while observing the scope and acceptable standards of operation. The officer diagnoses and treats various oral health conditions, offers preventive dental services, and educates patients on oral hygiene practices. They play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring patients receive quality dental care.
Academic Qualifications
- Diploma in Community Oral Health
- Registered with a valid license from Oral Health Association of Kenya (OHAK) / Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
- Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience
- Desirable Competencies:
- Proficient in computer applications
- Good communication skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental hygiene and oral health
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry advancements
- Compliance with regulatory and Oral Safety standards
