Job Summary
To deliver the pharmacy quality objectives as per the strategy.
Establishing and implementing policies and procedures of the pharmacy in accordance with the policies of the hospital and of the statutory requirement.
Ensuring proper inventory management and control in accordance with policies and procedures.
Preparing/reviewing hospital formulary periodically to reflect changes in treatment in consultation with other stakeholders as outlined in our Drugs & Therapeutics policy.
Ensuring compliance to QA standards by carrying out regular audits of all activities/procedures/equipment.
Reviewing and realigning activities to change customer needs and/or demands and develop new services.
Ensure doctors and clients receive appropriate drug information.
Participating in any investigation that follows market complaints about the quality of service or product.
Conduct pharmacist interns’ supervision.
Provide leadership to achieve high performance by ensuring employee development, employee engagement and performance management to deliver organization objectives and goals.
Avail accurate and timely reports for management decisions as required.
Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
Computer proficient.
Valid practice license & registered by the Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board
3-5years experience in a similar role.
