Job Summary
Required Qualifications
1. A Master’s Degree in Mass Communication or Journalism or Humanities or or Public Relations or Literature or International Relations from a recognized University.

2. An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication or Journalism or Humanities or Public Relations or Literature or International Relations from a recognized University.
Experience
1. Must have a relevant experience of not less than 9 years, 3 of which must have been at a level of Principal Communications and International Relations Officer in a reputable organization.Responsibilities
1. Take the lead in strategy and program development for diverse communication campaigns of special significance to the university image before the international community.
2. Regularly address major international audiences (eg partner universities, bi literal and milt lateral funding agencies, international committees on education).
3. Initiate collaborations and partnerships with other universities and international organisations on behalf of the University.
4. Prepare and oversee preparation of major documentation of senior management including briefings and speeches related to international relations.
5. Coordinate the travel arrangements of International students and visitors coming to visit the University including processing of travel documents.
6. Oversee the provision and dissemination of information on activities of teaching, learning, research and innovations available in the university.
7. Plan budget and account for resources of international resources
8. Supervise and appraise staff in the Unit.
9. Plan and facilitate the admission process of International Students.
10. Make arrangements in terms of transport, accommodation, meals and other provisions for visiting International Students, Staff and Visitors to the University.
11. Arrange study tours for International Visitors.
12. Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
