Retail Sales Financial Consultant (Life Insurance)

• Identify and acquire new retail customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, and field sales activities.
• Promote and sell life insurance, health insurance, investment-linked, savings, and other insurance products.
• Conduct financial needs analyses and recommend suitable insurance solutions tailored to clients' financial goals.
• Build, manage, and maintain a strong portfolio of clients while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and premium targets.
• Generate quality leads and convert prospects into loyal customers.
• Cross-sell and upsell insurance and financial products to existing clients.
• Guide clients through the application, underwriting, and policy issuance process.
• Ensure timely policy renewals and maintain a high client retention rate.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline reports using CRM systems.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver exceptional after-sales service and promptly resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, sales meetings, and continuous product training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Insurance, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance sales, financial advisory, wealth management, bancassurance, or financial services.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Professional certification such as CIIN or other relevant insurance qualifications is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, financial planning, and retail sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
