Description
Minimum Requirements
- 3 years of experience in ground electronics maintenance, communications systems, avionics, or related technical fields.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in electronics, communications, or electrical systems preferred.
- Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
- Passport must be valid for at least one year beyond hire date.
- Ability to meet and maintain contract medical requirements for the duration of deployment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi‑national workforce.
- Experience supervising technicians or leading maintenance teams.
- Strong understanding of electronic troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with Navy or DoD electronic systems, maintenance programs, or technical documentation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain country‑specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ground electronics systems, communication equipment, and associated support devices.
- Oversee technicians performing inspections, repairs, calibrations, and system testing in accordance with Navy and Amentum standards.
- Ensure proper configuration, functionality, and readiness of electronic systems supporting mission operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations related to electronic systems and equipment.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and performance oversight for assigned personnel.
- Support installation, upgrades, and integration of new electronic systems or components.
