A detail-oriented and highly organized accountant with strong experience in financial management, bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting. Skilled at managing high transaction volumes, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Experienced in reconciling accounts, processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing timely financial reports.


Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-branch business environment, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with a proven ability to support business growth through accurate financial analysis and effective cost control. A dependable team player committed to maintaining financial integrity while meeting tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for all branches and ensure transactions are recorded correctly and on time.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, cash sales, mobile money, and other payment platforms.
  • Monitor branch sales, expenses, and inventory-related financial transactions.
  • Prepare and process payroll, statutory deductions, and tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, track expenditures, and recommend cost-control measures.
  • Conduct regular financial reconciliations and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly management accounts.
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Support branch managers with financial information, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and financial institutions on accounting matters.
  • Safeguard financial records and maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Assist management with financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
