Requirements for direct appointment

For appointment to this grade a candidate one must have:-

a) Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution.

b) At least six (6) years working experience in provision of students’ services and handling of student welfare matters preferably in a recognized educational institution.

c) Demonstrable information communication technology skills in relevant computer packages from a recognized institution.

Requirements for serving officers

For appointment to this grade an officer must have:

a) Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

b) Served for at least Three (3) years in a relevant position in the University in provision of students’ services and handling of student matters

c) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
