Assistant Warehouse Manager

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field (FMCG preferred)
  
• Proven warehouse and logistics experience with strong planning, organisation and standards
  
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  

Method of Application

• Support daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate picking, loading and dispatch
  
• Improve stock flow and availability by applying FIFO/LIFO, monitoring fast and slow movers, and reducing backorders and stock-outs
  
• Drive efficiency and cost control by reducing lead times and minimising losses/breakages
  
• Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts, stock takes, trackers and KPI reporting
  
• Lead and coordinate warehouse teams through supervision, coaching and overtime management
  
• Manage relationships with transporters, vendors and customers to keep operations running smoothly
