Providing academic leadership in teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement.The role is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supervising postgraduate research,attracting research funding, developing academic programmes, fostering strategic partnerships,mentoring students and staff, and contributing to the University's academic excellence, researchimpact, and institutional development.
a. An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accreditedand recognized University;b. At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a SeniorLecturer; or six (6) years of research/industry experience or equivalent;c. Have a minimum of six (6) articles in refereed journals or minimum cumulative score ofForty-Eight (48) equivalent publication points of which at least thirty-six (36) should befrom refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Senior Lecturer;d. Supervised at least four (4) post-graduate students to completion, including at least onedoctoral student as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent;e. Registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable); and.f. Attracted research or development funds as a Senior Lecturer/Senior Research Fellow.
