Bess Technician

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Install, commission and test battery enclosures, inverters/PCS, transformers and switchgear
  
• Monitor BESS performance through SCADA/EMS and respond to alarms with first-level diagnostics
  
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on batteries, PCS, cooling and fire-suppression systems
  
• Apply LOTO, arc-flash and safe-isolation practices on high-voltage DC/AC systems Keep accurate maintenance logs, fault records and commissioning documentation
  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field
  
• 2–3 years’ hands-on experience in BESS, solar PV, power systems or industrial electrical maintenance
  
• Practical HV DC/AC experience and the ability to read single-line diagrams, schematics and OEM manuals SCADA/EMS experience is an added advantage
  
• Willingness to travel to sites, with occasional callout or shift work
