The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Operations, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in operating and maintaining furnace oil-fired industrial boilers.
Valid Boiler Operator’s license issued by a recognized regulatory authority.
Prior experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to boiler operations
Required Competencies
Strong knowledge of boiler operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Experience with furnace oil boilers and high-pressure steam systems.
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with water treatment procedures and chemical dosing.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor furnace oil boilers and associated high-pressure steam systems.
Perform routine inspections, checks, and preventive maintenance on boiler systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
Conduct water treatment and chemical dosing to maintain boiler efficiency and longevity.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations governing boiler operations.
Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to ensure continuous and safe plant operations.
