CBET Technologist-Medical Laboratory Science

Requirements:

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

• A Minimum of Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologist and Technician Board (KMLTTB)
  
• A Registration certificate issued by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologist and Technician Board (KMLTTB)
  
• A two (2) year working experience in the relevant field, must be well conversant Microbiology, Parasitology, Hematology, Histology and Immunohematology practicals.
  
• Proficiency in computer applications in
  
• Good communication skills
  

• Prepare learning materials and carry out instructions and guide learners during practical lessons
  
• Supporting Medical Laboratory services
  
• Maintaining Medical Laboratory records
  
• Sorting, stocking and monitoring inventory
  
• Complying with rules, regulations and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe Medical Laboratory
  
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or authorized personnel
