Description
The Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, and materials while ensuring proper maintenance and care of the assigned vehicle in line with company policies and road safety regulations.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years proven driving experience in a busy work environment.
- Must be able to confidently operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Valid driving license for the appropriate vehicle class.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Good knowledge of road networks and traffic regulations.
- Basic mechanical understanding of vehicles is an added advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline.

Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles to transport staff, goods, and materials to assigned destinations.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery as per scheduled assignments.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (oil, water, brakes, tyres, lights) before use.
- Maintain cleanliness and good mechanical condition of the vehicle at all times.
- Report any accidents, damages, or mechanical faults immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company transport policies.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and trip documentation.
- Assist in loading and offloading of goods when required.
- Ensure security of passengers and vehicle at all times.
- Perform minor emergency repairs where applicable.
