Clinical Instructor Nursing

Requirements for Appointment

To be eligible for appointment to the position of Clinical Instructor, the candidate must have:

i. Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

ii. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy hospital in the relevant discipline

a) Prepare, conduct and supervise practical classes or courses.

b) Participate in research and student projects.

c) Ability to teach Diploma courses in their respective discipline

d) Service and maintain scientific equipment as per the operational instruction manuals.

e) Ensure that equipment spare parts and supplies are available.

f) Assess, determine and evaluate requirements for assigned practical work.

g) Manage students at the hospital

h) Any other official duty as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
