Education & Professional Qualifications

• Kenyan citizenship is required.

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized

institution.

• Master’s degree in Dermatology from a recognized institution.

• Registered as a Medical/Specialist Practitioner with the Medical Practitioners

and Dentists Council.

• Certificate of Registration and a valid practicing license from the Medical

Practitioners and Dentists Council.

• Possession of a Recognition Certificate as a Specialist by the Kenya Medical

Practitioners’ and Dentists’ Council.

Work Experience

• At least one year of post-specialization experience in a busy dermatology unit.

• Demonstrated expertise in performing both diagnostic and therapeutic

dermatologic procedures.

• Experience in training and mentoring medical personnel is highly desirableSkills & Competencies

• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills specific to dermatology.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with sensitivity to work in a

multi-ethnic environment and respect for diversity.

• Proficiency in computer applications and modern medical IT systems.

• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence, with adherence

to the constitutional values outlined in Articles 10 and 232.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

• Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
