Requirements
- Master Degree (MMED or Equivalent) in Ophthalmology.
- Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an ophthalmologist in a clinical setting.
- Proven experience of performing at least 200 manual cataract surgeries.
- Competence in performing other ophthalmology procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to detect vision problems, eye diseases, and
- other conditions.
- Perform cataract surgeries and other eye surgeries with precision and care.
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases, injuries, and other disorders of the eye.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive measures.
