Academic and Professional Qualifications

▪ Bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from a recognized university

▪ Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

▪ Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS),

▪ At least one year of post-internship experience in either a public or private hospital.

▪ Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.

▪ Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting

procedures.

• Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems).

Desirable competencies

▪ Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.

▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

▪ Knowledge of the laws of Kenya, regulations, guidelines, and health

schemes.

▪ Excellent report writing skills.

▪ Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
