Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

  • The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related medical field from a recognized university, with registration by the relevant professional body and a valid private practicing license. A Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in a health- related discipline or medical education will be an added advantage.
  • At least five (5) years' relevant teaching or professional experience in the subject area, with the ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning.
  • Training in medical education or management will be an added advantage. Good understanding of the psychology and learning needs of young adults.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to relate effectively with people at all levels.·
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage
  • multiple tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines, including working under pressure when required.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, ethical conduct, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A recommendation letter from a religious leader, who should also be listed as one of the referees.
