Driving School Instructor

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

• Served in the grade of Driver II for a minimum period of three (3) years;
  
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D plain or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
  
• Craft Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics from a recognized institution;
  
• Passed Occupational Trade Test II for Drivers;
  
• Valid class BCE driving license free from any current endorsements;
  
• Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its Equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; vii.
  
• Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from a recognized Institution;
  
• Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the Highway Code;
  
• Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade III from the Ministry of Roads and Public Works;
  
• Valid certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police Service; and
  
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
