Requirements

  • University degree in ICT, Software Engineering, Digital Technologies, or a related field.
  • Additional training or certification in Digital Accessibility and/or Assistive Technology.
  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in digital accessibility, inclusive education programming, or related fields.
  • Practical experience with accessible digital platforms and training adults in professional settings.
  • Strong understanding of barriers faced by persons with disabilities, through professional and/or lived experience.
  • Experience working with NGOs, higher education institutions, or digital economy actors is an asset.
  • Fluency in English; French is an advantage.


Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise on digital accessibility and assistive technology to higher education institutions, EdTech providers, and digital economy partners.
  • Support partners to integrate accessibility standards across e-learning platforms, recruitment systems, and digital tools.
  • Design and deliver training, workshops, and coaching on digital accessibility for diverse stakeholders.
  • Support and guide digital accessibility audits and implementation of Disability Inclusion Action Plans (DIAPs).
  • Advise on the selection and use of assistive technologies, prioritising locally appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and share tools, resources, and learning materials on digital accessibility and assistive technology.
  • Contribute to Communities of Practice, learning events, and proposal development in collaboration with country teams and thematic experts.
