Finance Officer, Branch Accounts (Business Analyst 1) Kisumu

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline from a reputable university.
  
• Professional qualification(s) in Accounting e.g. CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
  

Work Experience

• At least three (3) years’ experience in a fully-fledged Accounting Department
  

• Efficient processing of suppliers’ invoices, staff claims and imprests.
  
• Perform Bank Account reconciliations.
  
• Ensure withholding of applicable taxes is done correctly.
  
• Prepare tax returns schedule to facilitate timely payment of relevant taxes.
  
• Coordinate regular filing of payment documents and ensure ease of retrieval.
  
• Approve payments promptly.
  
• Review payments against supporting documents on a daily basis.
  
• Review staff expense reports/claims for correctness.
  
• Effectively respond to supplier queries
