Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively implement fraud prevention strategies
- Effect detective mechanisms against fraud schemes
- Carry out fraud risk assessments
- Facilitate training and understanding of fraud prevention and detection across the Bank network
- Carry out fraud investigations using technology and best practice
- Prepare comprehensive forensic and fraud investigation reports
- Review and provide guidance within defined SLAs to reduce potential revenue losses and recovery of the same
- Recommend changes to fraud management methodologies while minimizing negative customer impact
- Track status and prepare periodic summaries of fraud trends as appreciated and from related industry sources to enhance fraud management across the business
- Enhance business wide fraud risk awareness
- Update the fraud database from time to time
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Academic & Professional Particulars:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, Banking, Law, Criminal Justice studies or any relevant field (Required)
- Professional Qualifications: CFIP, CFE, CISA, CSM or any other related forensic investigation certification (Required)
Experience & Proficiencies:
- Total Minimum: 5 years of experience in Banking operations
- Analytical skills in forensic investigations, Fraud Prevention & Detection: 5 years (Essential)
- Exposure to and familiarity with different analytical techniques (Linear, Regression, Clustering Techniques, Neural Network, Decision Trees etc.) (Essential)
- Demonstrated leadership in handling high profile assignments in a dynamic environment: 3 years (Desirable)
