Graduate Assistant in Pharmacognosy

Kabarak University is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Graduate Assistant in Pharmacognosy. The successful candidate will supervise student learning in clinical settings, support teaching and research activities, assist in course development and evaluation, and serve as a liaison between the school and clinical sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise student learning in clinical settings, evaluate their progress and integrate theory with practice.
• Collaborate with clinical facilities to enhance the learning experience.
• Assist in course development and evaluation, providing feedback on student performance and clinical settings.
• Serve as a liaison between school and clinical sites.
• Maintain accurate records and reports including grades and attendance.
• Engage in teaching and research activities including supervision of research project and conducting assessments.
• Perform any other duty assigned by the Dean, Head of Department or University Authority.

Qualifications and Skills

• Be expected to register for a relevant Master’s degree.
• Have at least an Upper Second-Class Honours Bachelor’s degree from an accredited and recognized University in the relevant field.
• Ability to use modern teaching methods and E-Learning tools.
• Be registered or registerable with the relevant professional body where applicable.
• Born again Christian and active member of a local church.
