Job Purpose
- To provide strategic leadership in development, implementation and review of policies, procedures, frameworks, strategies, plans, legislations, standards and regulations on human resource management and Administration.
- Reports to Deputy Principal Administration
Job Specification For appointment to this position, an applicant must have:
- A cumulative period of five (5) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been in the grade of Assistant Human Resource and Administration or in an equivalent or comparable position.
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Business Administration, Public Administration, or equivalent qualifications from an accredited and recognized institution.
- Postgraduate/Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management;
- Certified Human Resource Professional of Kenya;
- Be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management in good standing;
- Valid practicing certificate from the institute of Human Resource Management;
- Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution is an added advantage;
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
