Minimum Requirements
- At least two (2) years relevant experience in accounting and/or audit support.
- Audit documentation and record management skills 2. Financial documentation review skills 3. Administrative coordination skills 4. Communication and interpersonal skills 5. Organizational and filing system management skills 6. Attention to detail and accuracy 7. Integrity and confidentiality
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Part II or equivalent professional accounting qualifications. 2. Membership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya or Institute of Internal Auditors Kenya (IIA - Kenya) or relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist auditors in collecting financial and operational data required for audit reviews.
- Assist in preparation and formatting of audit reports and documentation.
- Assist in scheduling audit engagements and coordinating communication with departments.
- Audit Documentation Management Maintain and organize audit documentation including working papers and audit reports
- Compile documentation and records required during audit engagements
- Ensure audit documentation is properly indexed and accessible
- Ensure proper filing and safe custody of audit records
- Maintain records of audit findings and follow-up actions
- Maintain registers of audit engagements and audit documentation
- Provide administrative support during internal audit engagements
- Support logistics for audit activities
