Junior Systems Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:

Systems Administration:

• Assist with the administration and maintenance of computer systems, servers, and networks.
  
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  
• Support the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of technology systems.
  

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Support data analysis initiatives by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data sets.
  
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data insights.
  
• Assist in data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver accurate and meaningful reports.
  

Help Desk Support:

• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.
  
• Respond to user inquiries and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
  
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, escalating complex issues as necessary.
  
• Document support requests and resolutions for future reference.
  

Research and Innovation:

• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and emerging tools.
  
• Conduct research and provide recommendations on technology solutions and best practices.
  
• Contribute to the exploration and implementation of innovative ideas and initiatives.
  

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• Strong passion for technology and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Flexibility and adaptability to switch roles and responsibilities within the technology team.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
  
• Familiarity with a range of technology functions, such as systems administration, help desk support, software development, data analysis, or project coordination.
  
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages, databases, or software tools is a plus.
