Description
We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to join our Garage Equipment Division (GED) team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the overall wellbeing of all workshop machines/equipment and tools in the entire network by ensuring that machines are always available, reliable, and efficient through proper and first-time diagnosis, timely and correct maintenance of all machines and tool control.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure machine and equipment reliability through effective preventive and total productive maintenance (PM & TPM).
Plan and control maintenance activities and generate accurate maintenance reports.
Identify critical spare parts and coordinate with the department head for further analysis and ordering.
Work closely with service supervisors to address issues affecting production.
Execute planned maintenance projects and provide regular updates.
Promote and enforce safety practices in the workshop.
Train workshop staff on proper tool and equipment usage.
Support continuous improvement through analysis and problem-solving.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Diploma in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of generators, compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and basic AutoCAD.
Experience in garage equipment operations and maintenance is an added advantage.
Valid driving license is a plus
