Part-time Tutor (Critical Care Nursing)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN) or its equivalent, in an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  
• Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing in an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  
• .A Master's degree in Nursing will be an added advantage.
  
• At least three (3) years work experience in Critical Care Nursing.
  
• Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  
• Valid practice license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
  
• Proficiency in computer applications.
  
• Compliance with Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
  

• Teach and examine courses through lectures, seminars and supervision.
  
• Provide leadership in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, marking policies, assessment and learning strategies in the Institute.
  
• Deliver lectures and monitor student progress during training, provide support and advice to enable the students excel in their studies.
  
• Evaluate academic progress of students, record findings and devise action plans where necessary.
  
• Manage the relationship with all key stakeholders both internally and externally and maintain appropriate communication with them.
  
• Any other duty as may be assigned.
