Residential Medical Officer

The Jordan Hospital Kitui is seeking a qualified and experienced Residential Medical Officer to join our medical team. The successful candidate will provide quality clinical care, support patient management, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university
• Minimum of 1–2 years relevant clinical experience
• Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
• Holds a valid KMPDC practicing license

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care and treatment to patients
• Conduct patient assessment, diagnosis and management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in patient care
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies
• Participate in ward rounds and other clinical activities
• Provide health education and counselling to patients
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures and clinical guidelines
