Senior Procurement Manager

Master's degree or professional certification (CIPS, CPSP, or equivalent) is an added advantage

Minimum 7-10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or managerial role

Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills

Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation

High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Posses ability to work in an extremely high-pressure high accountability environment.

Have a demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to customers.

Must be Proficient in ERP systems as well as Microsoft Excel.

Having studied in China or graduated from a Confucius Institute is an added advantage

Language proficiency: Fluent in Chinese + English is an added Advantage

Identify potential qualified suppliers and submit market analysis reports.

Supplier development: Lead the process for identifying, qualifying, auditing and on boarding new suppliers, including site evaluations and approval submissions.

Strategic negotiation and cost control: Take charge of price negotiations, framework agreements and long term contract signings for bulk materials or strategic projects to achieve strategic cost reductions

Supplier strategy Management: Assist the procurement team in developing supplier classification and management strategies while establishing and maintaining strategic cooperative relationships with key suppliers

Support sourcing and supplier development for procurement projects such as new product development, material substitution and localization initiatives.

Ensuring the Quality and adoption rate of supply market analysis-reports are submitted on time.
