Qualifications

  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in water and sanitation projects or sales engineering.
  • Holder of BSc/B.Eng. in Civil Engineering – Water option, Mechanical engineering.
  • Background experience in water piping systems, sanitation systems and telecom infrastructure is required.
  • Previous experience in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects is advantageous.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD, WaterCAD, and SolidWorks, for design, modeling, analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts, principles, and specifications, with the ability to translate technical knowledge into commercially viable solutions that deliver value to customers and support business objectives.
  • Proven technical competence – understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate for commercial benefit.
  • Excellent product knowledge.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Technical skills and Problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical mind.
  • Ability to readily adjust to changing circumstances, priorities, technologies, and business environments, while maintaining effectiveness and a positive attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new products, technologies, and solutions, and effectively apply acquired knowledge to address client needs and business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the Sales and Supply Chain teams in responding to customer inquiries and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to support in-house fabrication projects and activities.
  • Create, maintain, and update all technical documentation for products manufactured internally and products purchased for resale.
  • Track sales leads and provide technical information and support throughout the sales process until successful closure.
  • Work closely with the R&D, Business Development, and Supply Chain teams to ensure products comply with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality in all business-related engagements.
