Description
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Menbership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) or a related professional affiliation is advantageous.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience managing a wide range of projects activities including design, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, fabrication, operations and maintenance and commissioning.
- PMP certification is a plus, with proficiency in computerized project management and reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Oversee field operations and activities in the Warri area, providing support for multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate resource planning, cost estimating and scheduling in collaboration with Resource Management.
- Plan, organize, coordinate and manage projects in compliance with company policies, procedures, systems and requirements.
- Supervise field operations and project support teams directly.
- Lead field operations staff, including involvement in employee selection, training and performance management.
- Coordinate business development, project development, and field operations to ensure client safety,cost, quality, schedule, technical and operability objectives are met, integrating safety into all aspects of project execution.
- Solve complex technical issues requiring broad knowledge of technical and functional responsibilities.
- Provide expert engineering guidance and project leadership.
- Collaborate with the business development team to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Oversee research, development, testing and evaluation efforts for the projects.
- Develop detailed plans for field operations and project execution, integrating technical activities.
- Review and approve contracts and cost estimates for project execution.
