Qualifications

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, shipping operations, or related roles within the logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation modes, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of international trade practices and Incoterms is a plus.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management is desirable.

Salary
N47,000 / month.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal departments, external partners, and clients regarding logistics-related inquiries, requests, and issues.
  • Coordinate with logistics vendors and carriers to arrange transportation, shipping, and delivery of goods according to client requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, shipping invoices and others
  • Monitor and track the status of shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any delays or discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and inventory management teams to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient fulfillment of orders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the logistics operations, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate and resolve logistics-related issues, such as delivery failures, damaged goods to minimize disruptions to operations and mitigate risks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining positive relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to ensure adherence to standards and mitigate risks.
