Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or a related field; additional certifications or advanced degrees will be highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Legal Officer or similar role within the real estate and construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate and construction laws, regulations, and legal frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, property law, and relevant commercial legislation.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research and utilizing legal databases and software.

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with external legal counsel and represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and settlements.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks, anticipate potential issues, and develop effective strategies for their resolution.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry practices that impact real estate and construction activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and best practices within the organization.
