Description
Qualification and Experience
- OND in science related discipline with little or no experience/ High School certificate holder with experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years working experience in Food and Beverage industry.
- Experience in separation/centrifugation process with reference to sugar liquor in an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor centrifugal machines to efficiently purge molasses from sugar massecuite.
Observe sugar crystal color and quality during the purging cycle to ensure process standards are met.
Set and adjust operational parameters (speed, cycle time, wash water) on centrifugal machines.
Assist in maintaining centrifugal machines and auxiliary equipment in good working condition.
Maintain station housekeeping and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all unit activities.
Ensure full compliance with QMS, FSSC, OHSAS, and other active management systems within the department.
Perform other duty assignments as directed by the Shift Centrifugal Supervisor.
