Mechanical Engineer
Description
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Support process engineering activities, including monitoring and optimizing production processes.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and process teams to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3–4 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
- Technical: Basic understanding of process engineering principles.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial machinery, preventive maintenance, and safety standards.
