Description
Requirements
- OND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience, or Trade Test 1, 2, 3 with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Sound technical and mechanical maintenance skills
- Strong preventive maintenance capabilities
- Effective technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
- Carry out planned preventive and breakdown maintenance of all water treatment, swimming pools, sewage systems, water treatment plant equipment and pump stations.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance functional mechanical workshop and proper handling of tools.
- Carry out washing of reservoirs, painting and assembling of parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance of water treatment plant (WTP).
- Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
